Pam got her first pony at 11 years old and went onto an extensive career competing mainly in eventing, showjumping, dressage, showing and breeding many of these horses. At 15 years old she bought her first TB stallion and started breeding Anglo Arabs and TBs over the years, standing three stallions at stud. Also during this time, she trained with some of Australia's leading riders and trainers. After being crushed and gored by a cow sixteen years ago, with a totally smashed shoulder joint and arm, broken in several places, with three months of physio showing not much improvement, she came across Dr. Brian McLaren, the founder of Photonic Therapy. This turned her life around. She now has full use of her arm and she went on to fully qualify in Human, Equine, and Canine Photonic Therapy, work-studying alongside Dr. McLaren. Pam has an Advanced Degree in Reiki, Diploma in Equine Acupuncture, Diploma of Equine Performance Management and Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, Level 1 NCAS Coach.
When Pam first saw The Masterson Method about eight years ago at Equitana in Melbourne, she was amazed at the reactions of horses, so she followed the newsletters for years. When Instructor, Toni Horsley started teaching Masterson Method Weekend Seminar-Workshops in Australia, this started her wonderful journey with The Masterson Method. Pam loves the interaction and trust you gain using light touch with horses. It enables you to work on a much deeper level. For example, addressing performance issues and the overall well-being of the horses. This method has now become her main healing technique.
