A woman standing with her horse.

Horses have been my passion from a very young age. I spent countless hours entering every “Win a Pony” competition I could find, until at 18 I was finally able to take on my first rescue horse from the ILPH. Flying Kiwi quickly became my soulmate, and together we shared endless adventures — exploring the countryside or simply enjoying each other’s company.

After Kiwi sadly passed away, I welcomed two more rescue horses from a local animal charity. Although I had always felt naturally intuitive with horses, I wanted to deepen my understanding and connection with them. This led me to train in Native American Horsemanship® based on the teachings of GaWaNi Pony Boy. From there, I attained Equine Reiki Level II and completed a course in Equine Assisted Therapy. At the time, I was still working in the corporate world as a Human Resources professional, but I knew my true passion lay in working with horses.

A friend introduced me to The Masterson Method® and as soon as I began to explore further, I felt an immediate spark — this was what I truly wanted to learn. Soon after, everything seemed to fall into place. My HR contract reached completion not long before I attended the MM Weekend Course, and following that experience, I immediately enrolled into the Advanced 5-Day Course, with certification firmly set as my goal.

By then, I had my current herd of four which includes one of my original rescues. Each of them carried their own physical or emotional challenges in some way, and I felt The Masterson Method could help me support them more fully. Sharing my certification journey with them has been incredibly rewarding and transformative.

Today, I continue to follow my passion for helping horses relax, release tension and restore mind and body to be their best selves. Expanding my knowledge through further study in Equine Fascia and Trauma Release, Recognising Pain in the Ridden Horse, and equine nutrition. I am also a member of the IAAT and committed to ongoing CPD.

I am based on the East Shropshire/Staffordshire border covering Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands counties but willing to travel further if needed. Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to organise a session for your horse.
