“Sometimes the most helpful thing you can do is be a human being, instead of a human doing.” ~ Warwick Schiller

I have a strong background in human nutrition and hold a deep love for both equine and human anatomy and physiology. My initial interest lead me to became an NTP (Nutritional Therapy Practitioner) over 20 years ago and an LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist) over 15 years ago. I have had horses since I was a little girl and have enjoyed trail riding, endurance riding, cattle sorting and most recently I have picked up working equitation. My daughter and I share 7 lovely horses and a mule.

I have a deep interest in complementary modalities and am always searching for ways to help my horses with structural imbalances and injuries and prevention of these issues in the future. These interests led to my discovery of The Masterson Method® several years ago. I was drawn to The Masterson Method because of its nervous system-centered approach, softness and process guided by the horse. The more we learn about humans and horses and the value of nervous system regulation, the more apparent the value of work like The Masterson Method becomes. One of my favorite instructors from massage school, years ago, said, “The issue is in the tissue” and this becomes more and more relevant to me each passing year. I’ve found that learning the work that helps the horses release mental and physical tension, also encourages me to do the same.

I am taking new clients and would love to help you with your horse! I primarily work out of Troutdale, Oregon, but also out of LaGrande/Enterprise, Oregon once a month.
