When Lori was 12 years old, she had saved enough money to buy her own horse. In time, there were two horses in the pasture. The years passed and college, marriage, and kids took precedence; Lori's involvement with horses had to wait.
When planning a transition out of the corporate environment as a career IT professional, Lori recalled her passion for horses. She wanted to make a positive impact on this magnificent and sensitive animal, and that desire lead her to The Masterson Method Integrated Equine Performance Bodywork. The interactive techniques of working with the horse instead of to the horse resonated strongly with Lori.
As a Certified Practitioner of the Masterson Method, Lori uses this form of equine massage on performance and competitive equestrian disciplines, horses used for pleasure riding, and pasture pets. The benefits can be seen in a reduction of tension and soreness, enhancement of agility, suppleness, balance, and overall improved well-being.
