Description
The Beyond Horse Massage video offers a step-by-step visual guide to basic Masterson Method® equine bodywork techniques, clearly filmed and explained in detail. Jim shows basic techniques for the key junctions of the body that most affect performance: poll/atlas, neck/shoulder/withers, hind end, and back. These are the foundational techniques that all Masterson Method students learn to start their journey. (1 hour, 20 minutes)
The Light to The Core video offers additional subtle and simple techniques that have the ability to profoundly affect the deepest interconnections of the horse’s body. You’ll see 3-D graphics that familiarize you with essential interconnections inside the horse’s body, learn the specific areas of the horse where this light touch can be most effective, see step-by-step instructions on how to successfully apply individual techniques, and gain ideas for problem-solving common behavior and performance issues including a young horse case study with Jim resolving trouble spots using Light Touch in real-time. (2 hours, 25 minutes)
By using both the Beyond Horse Massage and Light To The Core techniques, you’ll learn how to:
- Release accumulated stress in deep-seated key junctions of the horse’s body that affects mobility, comfort, attitude, training, and performance.
- Restore muscular and structural balance, and natural alignment.
- Enable your horse to perform optimally.
- Build trust with your horse by working with him not on him.
