The (physical) changes in the horses is quite amazing when working with this method! Watching a horse relax and release is exciting! So happy I found another way to connect with my horses!

Just purchased and watched the Beyond Horse Massage DVD and let me just say, ‘Wow’! Now I know how to help my horses! I have Standardbred racehorses and a couple of saddle horses that are going to LOVE these techniques! Thanks so much for putting the knowledge of helping horses in such an easy to understand format. Will let you know how they do once I have a chance to put what I’ve learned to use! Oh, I also have the book, so I can take it along and review what I need to do to help my ponies.

I began studying The Masterson Method as a modality to add to my equine bodywork business. What I didn’t know is that it would change my life in beautiful ways! The Masterson Method works wonderfully on all types of horses. The instruction is top notch. I have met wonderful people during the in person training and have always left with loads of very useful tools to help horses!

I’ve just attended a two-day training clinic which was organized with in-depth, hands-on work. Since returning I have worked with my horse and seen some impressive results. It works like magic .. but is founded on solid horsemanship knowledge. Love it.

Very clear and easy to follow, have been using this method on my two horses and can see the releases and visible improvement. Both horses seem to really enjoy it. One of my horses, who is in rehab for a long term lameness, was very stiff and braced to start with so was quite resistant on the first attempt, but he now loves it and is much freer and softer in his muscles and moving better. Am recommending to all my friends. It is
also a lovely way to build up your bond with your horses, spending slow quiet time with them with this very very gentle and effective technique.

Immediate results with my Horse. He has had so many BIG Releases that I thought he was convulsing, especially when his ears rolled back, his neck stretched out, his tongue stuck out and his head nodding and shaking. Found out that this is a very big release for my horse. Poor guy! He must have had some serious pain issues! These techniques truly work well!!! My horse loves me now, and tells me more about his ouchie spots. He
is no longer biting like he used to do. Now I understand why he was biting! He had so much pain! Poor guy. He is so much more calm and relaxed after I work with him using many of Mr. Masterson’s techniques. Got both the DVD and Book.

This book saved my relationship with my latest competition Dressage horse. After purchasing this wonderful, sensitive, young warmblood, she was so frightened and lost her self-confidence to the point of being dangerous. She routinely reared, pulled back and fell over backwards. She destroyed my trailer and wouldn’t even canter. One rainy day I spent several hours in her stall calming her and using the Masterson technique on
her. This was the turning point in everything. She became so relaxed and trusting of my touch that she started to open up and seek comfort in me. I revert back to this technique whenever I need to calm her and before and after a strenuous show. The HORSE does all the work of targeting and relaxing key points of tightness. It is magical to watch. Anyone can do it because it does not require any more technique than just patience and
an open, listening mind.

Several weeks ago, when bringing the mares up for the night, it appeared there’d been some sort of fright fest while we were gone for the day as all were visibly shaken and two were injured. The eldest, an arthritic 23-year-old retired cutting horse / broodmare could barely walk and was toe down only on her right hind. She also couldn’t bend her neck to the right at all and had difficulty putting it down in an attempt to eat. While I was hesitant to do Masterson Method with her initially, after giving her IV Bute, she positioned herself closer to me and between me and the stall door, which is a regular habit of hers when she wants (to be) worked on.

So, I did as I was told! LOL! I didn’t expect for it to be a long session, as it generally never is with her but 3.5 hours later is when she was done. She had full range of motion back in her neck and was bearing a fair amount of weight on the hind right when I left the barn. The next morning, I expected to find her in much the same condition as I’d left her but to my amazement, not only was she 100% sound, she had better range of motion than before she got hurt!
