Lissy ‘s path into equine bodywork was shaped by a lifelong love of horses and a professional background in veterinary-focused medical technology.

Her journey took a personal turn when she acquired a spirited Trakehner mare. In search of better communication, she discovered The Masterson Method®, a gentle, hands-on technique that immediately deepened the connection with her horse. The method’s emphasis on subtle touch and responsiveness resonated deeply with her, offering a powerful and accessible way to engage with horses on a physical and emotional level.

Inspired by the transformative impact of this approach, Lissy pursued certification and began integrating Masterson Method® techniques into her practice as a veterinary-approved osteopath to support animals physically. What drives her most are the moments of trust and release—when a horse realizes it’s being truly listened to and responds with openness and connection. These subtle exchanges are at the heart of her work, rooted in empathy, precision, and deep respect for the horse’s voice.

Over time, this practice became a passion. Once you know what to look for, it becomes second nature to observe animals’ movement and behavior, to feel for areas of tension, and to wait for their releases. What fascinates Lissy most is that one moment in every first treatment when the horse recognizes that someone is responding to its smallest signals. Often, the horse turns its head and looks directly into your eyes—with a mix of surprise, amazement, and disbelief. These moments touch the heart and soul, creating goosebumps and forging a strong bond. They are the reason Lissy is so deeply committed to this work.
