When Fran retired from a corporate career in 2011, she knew that the next phase of her life needed to involve helping animals, and specifically horses. When she started looking for ideas on how she could best help horses and their riders, she came across the tangible benefits of equine massage therapy. Within months of ‘retirement’ she became a certified equine sports massage therapist. But it wasn’t enough.
She took another course and then discovered The Masterson Method®. After only the weekend seminar, she knew that she had found a unique and effective modality that would serve her clients well. Her customers took note of the huge and positive differences in their horses. So Fran signed up for the Advanced course and subsequently worked her way through the Fieldwork curriculum and to certification. Eventually, she also became a Masterson Method® Coach, Mentor and in 2020, a weekend instructor. Fran’s thirst for more knowledge has her spending her free time digging through anatomy & research and signing up for additional course work and continuing education. She serves a wide variety of equine breeds and disciplines in her expanding business.
An avid dressage rider, Fran also dabbles in mounted archery and extreme trail. She volunteers at several local charities and equine groups.
