Alice’s life has always been intertwined with horses. From a young age, she immersed herself in the world of horses at the local stable, cultivating a deep appreciation for not only riding, but also for the majestic animals themselves. This profound love for horses served as the catalyst that drove her towards a career in equine bodywork, dedicated to promoting wellness in her equine companions.
Her journey began with certification as a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist, where she utilized traditional massage techniques to aid numerous horses in need. Eager to expand her expertise, Alice embarked on the path to becoming a Masterson Method® Certified Practitioner. This new role allowed her to delve into the intricacies of the horse’s musculature, targeting key areas that impact performance by releasing tension in the deeper muscles.
Alice’s commitment to advancing her knowledge led her to also become a Masterson Method Equine Specialist, empowering her to instigate positive transformations in the lives of both humans and therapy horses. Through teaching basic yet powerful principles of The Masterson Method®, she guided program staff, volunteers, and participants towards fostering a deeper connection with equine partners.
Passionate about sharing her expertise, Alice actively educates aspiring Masterson Method® Certified Practitioners as a member of the Masterson Method Educational Team. She imparts her knowledge through various courses and demonstrations, serving as a local and traveling Weekend Seminar Instructor, Advanced 5 Day Course, Coach and Mentor to students seeking to getting fully certified.
In 2024, Alice further expanded her skill set by becoming a Lazaris Nerve Release Practitioner, specializing in releasing nerve impingements within horses, particularly focusing on areas like the brachial plexus and lumbosacral plexus, to address a range of issues from chronic anxiety to dangerous behaviors.
Dedicated to enhancing the well-being of every horse she encounters, Alice incorporates therapeutic grade essential oils in her practice for aromatherapy, the Equine Raindrop Technique, and Emotional Release. With a holistic approach, she aims to optimize both the physical and emotional health of her equine companions, ensuring they feel and perform at their very best.
Alice is currently based in Ocala, Florida, where she provides her services to clients in the surrounding areas. Occasionally, she also travels to Southern Maryland to offer her expertise.
