Emily has always loved horses, even pretending to be one as a little girl.
A turning point for Emily was attending a demonstration on the Masterson Method®, learning how beneficial it is for horses and immediately saw results during that short time that used a gentle manner and touch with big releases. She continues to use a Masterson Method practitioner for her horse, a 26-year-old off-track thoroughbred who always goes back for more during his sessions.
Emily is a PATH International Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI), an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL), and a Masterson Method Equine Specialist (MMES). Additional studies include courses in Equine Assisted Learning and The Wilsie’s Horse Speak® and a goal to become a Masterson Method Practitioner.
Putting her Masterson Method Equine Specialist certification into action, Emily has taught the Bladder Meridian to numerous volunteers and students during therapeutic horseback riding lessons. She noticed they had achieved a better connection with their horse, an increased ability to watch for small movements of release and communication, being in the moment, confidence, and joy while working with the horse to release tensions and providing a more supple, relaxed appearance.
Outside those lessons, Emily has worked with horses using the Bladder Meridian and believes the horses are feeling better because of it!
