Review, practice and refine techniques to become a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner

The Certification Completion Course is a two- or three-day course depending on the number of students attending. At this course, students will review, practice and refine all Masterson Method® skills and techniques with a Certification Instructor. Proficiency in The Masterson Method® skills and techniques will be required to become certified, whereupon they will be awarded the title, Masterson Method Certified Practitioner (MMCP). Note: Participating does not guarantee certification. You must successfully complete all fieldwork requirements and be deemed proficient at the Certification Completion Course.

Course Outline

The CCC student will—

  • Review and refine their Masterson Method skills and techniques
  • Learn new evaluation, mobilization and release techniques
  • Expand their knowledge about Putting It All Together in final evaluations
  • Work one-on-one with the Certification Instructor
  • Demonstrate physical fitness and proficiency in all Masterson Method skill categories (i.e., Safety, Feel, Flow, Tuned in to the Horse, Horsemanship and Handling, and Fundamentals of each Technique) and techniques, as previously assessed during Fieldwork coaching courses
  • Earn the title of Masterson Method Certified Practitioner (MMCP) upon successful completion
  • Tuition:  $1100

Note: Participating does not guarantee certification. Students must demonstrate proficiency in all skills and techniques to become certified. In the event deficiencies are identified, students may be asked to do additional work, complete cases studies, and/or attend additional coaching before being re-evaluated for proficiency.

Completion Requirements

  • Must have attended three Coaching Courses
  • Must have received 4’s – 5’s (on a scale of 1-5) on all of the Masterson Method skills and techniques during your last Coaching Course
  • Must have completed all of your case studies and have been signed off by your Block 3 Mentor to attend
  • Must have completed and/or fulfilled the anatomy prerequisite for certification
  • Must have completed the last Coaching Course at least 3 weeks prior to Certification Completion Course and completed all homework
