Monique: Holistic Specialist for Horses

Monique’s journey with horses began at a young age. She was drawn to the “challenging” ones — the horses that needed patience, clarity, and a calm nervous system beside them. Over time, she developed a strong ability to read body language, recognize stress patterns, and help animals soften back into balance. That early experience became the foundation of her holistic approach: work with the horse, not against it.

Her professional path deepened when she discovered The Beyond Horse Massage DVD by Jim Masterson. The techniques immediately resonated with her: gentle, precise, and focused on releasing tension through awareness and connection. What started as personal study grew into a professional direction, and Monique became a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner, continuing to build hands-on experience and expanding her skills through ongoing education.

Today, Monique supports the well-being of horses, dogs, and their owners with an integrated approach that combines structural bodywork, nervous-system regulation, and energetic support when appropriate. Her work includes The Masterson Method®, sport massage, Equine Touch, myofascial therapy, craniosacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, and animal communication. With her background as a para-veterinarian and natural veterinary advisor, she also works knowledgeably with complementary approaches such as TCM principles, phytotherapy, aromatherapy, Reiki, and homeopathy, always keeping the animal’s safety, comfort, and real-life situation central.

Monique’s sessions are tailored, practical, and calm. She aims for sustainable change: less tension, more ease in movement, clearer behaviour, and improved performance where relevant — without forcing, and with respect for the animal’s boundaries. She works closely with owners, and where needed she encourages veterinary guidance, because good holistic work should support good veterinary care, not replace it.

Monique will soon begin the Masterson Method for Dogs practitioner pathway. Already a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner Equine, she’s excited to deepen her skills with the Masterson approach for dogs as well.
