Susie discovered a deep connection to horses after participating in a half day equine assisted learning workshop in January 2019. Already a certified reiki practitioner, Susie reached out to a local therapeutic riding center in Boulder and has volunteered there as their herd equine reiki practitioner since February 2019.
Practicing the presence of peace with each herd member was a gift of both giving and receiving.
In 2022, Susie participated in the Masterson Method weekend course. This was such a wonderful and eye opening experience of how to connect on a deeper level with a horse. This led most recently to continue her Masterson training and become certified as a Masterson Method Equine Specialist.
With the closing of the barn Susie has volunteered at since 2019, she is looking for new opportunities to serve in the local Boulder area equine community, to serve another herd of horses and offer her MMES skills at another local therapeutic riding center. Please feel free to contact her by email.
