The Masterson Method is developing a new course for members of youth clubs, such as the US Pony Clubs, 4H, or other youth riding club to help members go further with their ponies, both in terms of ribbons and relationship!

The Masterson Method® is an interactive approach to equine bodywork that anyone can learn. You can help your pony feel and move better, and also build trust when you practice this bodywork.

Youth at all levels are welcome to attend:

• Half day course for all levels to learn a few basic techniques
• Full-day course for more experienced riders to learn more challenging techniques

Students will receive a workbook with step-by-step instructions, illustrations, photographs and tips for safety.

We have 1 course on the calendar for this July, and will soon have lots more!

Courses are added to our schedule throughout the year. If you find a course that works for you and has openings, we recommend registering as soon as possible. Our courses fill quickly. If a course is FULL, email to be added to a course waitlist.

The Masterson Method® is an interactive approach to equine bodywork where you learn to recognize and use the responses of the pony using light touch in order to find and release tension in key junctions, which will result in greater comfort and ease of movement.

Building Trust

When horses understand that you are responding to what they are telling you, an instant level of trust develops. The horse is our partner and we should be constantly asking ourselves and our horses what we can do to improve that relationship.
