What makes the Masterson Method® special and from my perspective differentiate itself from any other equine therapeutic approach, is the degree to which the horse is actively involved in the therapy session. As a MM Certified Practitioner, I am trained to pay attention to the smallest signals of the horses to be able to enter into an active dialogue with the them and thus to detect and relieve the muscular tension in the horse’s body. This capability enables me also to activate the parasympathetic nervous system of very nervous horses or horses who lost their trust in human beings, which is the precondition for a sustainable therapy.

As appropriate training is also a key pillar for sustainable results, training recommendations or individual training plans are an important part of my concept. If the muscular tension and movement restrictions are of reoccurring nature, it is an integral part of my job to try to identify the rout causes in conjunction with the horse owner. It is my clear vision, that only teamwork between the horse, the owner, vets, bodyworker, farrier / barefoot trimmer, saddle fitter and trainer can keep a horse healthy or helps a horse during its rehabilitation.

As a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner and Equine Osteopathic Therapist, I would be delighted to be part of this team for your horse.

Located in the northern part of the Eifel, I practice within that region but also around Aachen and Cologne.
