Tina’s parents often told her that her first word was “horse”. Tina would play horses everyday, she dreamt of the day when she would have her very own horse. When Tina turned 11, her dreams came true, a paint horse she named Patches. Tina and Patches were inseparable, they shared many adventures riding in the fields and foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Jefferson County, Colorado.
Needing to learn the proper care, riding and instructions of horse ownership, Tina was fortunate enough to join Westernaires. The local horse organization, Westernaires, is dedicated to the education and providing opportunities for young people along with their horses, riding in parades, horse shows and rodeos. One of the highlights of belonging to this organization, Tina had the opportunity to ride in the Grand Entry at the Denver National Stock Show. After graduating from Westernaires at 18, Tina continued to enjoy her horses in shows and trail rides.
In 2019 Tina was at the World Horse Expo in Sacramento Ca. There she saw a demonstration by Jim Masterson explaining the Masterson Method Beyond Horse Massage. She had the opportunity to attend many demonstrations and could see the positive impact this method had with the horses. She never looked back. Now living in Utah, practicing the Masterson Method®, Tina loves helping performance, injured, and family horses live their best lives.
