Having been around horses for over 45 years, as a loaner, owner and unpaid groom(!) to my daughter and her horse, I’ve been lucky that my job as a Homeopath has enabled me to support and educate a number of owners to care for their horses with homeopathic remedies for almost 25 years. I had often thought about training in equine bodywork to compliment this, but never found a methodology that sat well with me and the homeopathic view of ‘the minimum dose’ or in Masterson language, ‘less is more’.
Thankfully, The Masterson Method® quite literally found me, with courses often being run at the yard I’m based at and since qualifying as a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner, I have been able to spend more time focusing on the wellbeing of these beautiful animals.
I am now far more likely to be found tucked away in a stable working on a horse, than in a clinic room with a human. However, I’ll often be asked to bring my remedies with me to body work sessions as owners frequently like to discuss their ailments with me while I’m working on their horse!
