Lisa is a former elementary school teacher with a lifelong love of animals. As a child, she was fortunate to take horseback riding lessons—an early experience that planted the seed for a deep, lasting connection with horses. Years later, that love was rekindled through her own children. In 2012, the family became horse owners, training and showing locally in English pleasure and basic dressage.
After the sudden loss of one of their horses, Lisa stepped back from riding to support her children in their interests and endeavors. That same year, a setback with her daughter’s horse prompted Lisa to seek new ways to connect with horses. This journey led her to natural horsemanship and a deeper understanding of the horse-rider relationship.
In 2017, a miniature mare named LaLa entered Lisa’s life, sparking a powerful bond. Sensitive and intuitive, LaLa challenged Lisa to become more present, soft, and attuned. Their in-hand work together was rewarding, but it was the emotional and energetic connection that truly captivated Lisa.
As LaLa began experiencing arthritic changes, Lisa searched for holistic ways to support her. That’s when she discovered the Masterson Method®. To deepen her horsemanship and gain hands-on experience, she worked at a private barn while preparing to attend her first Masterson course in the fall of 2021. It was a transformative experience—and Lisa was hooked.
While awaiting the next level of training, she continued her education, studying anatomy and becoming a PEMF Certified Practitioner (MCP). Today, she supports horses, humans, dogs, and even goats at the cellular level.
The Masterson Method® has opened a new world of listening, softening, and healing that resonates deeply with Lisa’s heart and soul. She is committed to growing as a practitioner and partner, helping clients—both animal and human—feel more comfortable, balanced, and connected.
Lisa is grateful to God, to the horses, and especially to her “little nugget” LaLa (now 20), for guiding her toward this meaningful work.
She currently serves Northeast Metro Atlanta, Southeast Metro Atlanta, and Middle Georgia.
