A woman laughing with a yawning mini horse.

Hi, I’m Laynie Tacornal.

Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up riding from a young age—with a childhood fueled by The Lord of the Rings and a dream of spending my life surrounded by horses. Over the years, I explored many corners of the horse world: lesson programs, competitive barrel racing, cow work in California, working at a feed store, and owning two horses of my own.

Those experiences inspired me to go deeper—into anatomy, biomechanics, and what truly supports a horse’s natural movement and comfort. Discovering the Masterson Method® was a turning point. The more I learned, the more it resonated, and the more it opened my eyes to the subtle, powerful ways horses communicate.

I’ve had the privilege of working with horses of all sizes and breeds—from minis to warmbloods and everything in between. Every horse is approached as an individual. I take into consideration their history, conformation, discipline, and personality to ensure they get the most out of each session.

This work is so much more than a job to me. I want owners to see the difference in their horses—whether that means freer, more balanced movement in the dressage arena or simply a softer, happier attitude at home. My goal is always the same: to help your horse feel balanced, comfortable, and more connected to their body.

I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your equine partner. I currently reside in Knoxville, TN and I am happy to travel to surrounding counties!
