Laura, originally from England, has cultivated a unique career that intertwines her passion for equine rehabilitation with her dedication to equine wellness and instructing. With a strong foundation from the prestigious British Riding School and a love for Thoroughbreds, she used her specialized skills focusing on their rehabilitation and retraining needs to show them competitively in dressage and show jumping. With over 34 yrs of equine experience she has completed certifications in MMES, MMCP and also CTRI through PATH INTL.
Laura began Sky Equine Bodywork LLC in Spring 2022 with education from other modalities but since adding MM techniques to her equine bodywork practice, she continues to grow exponentially within VA, MD, and lower PA. Laura also has an extended wealth of equine knowledge in advanced equine anatomy, nutrition, myofascial release and trigger point therapy, along with professional training in red-light 3b lasers. Laura believes MM has aided her bond and strengthened her intuition with equines. She has a strong belief in wrap-around equine services, with certified bodyworkers playing a major role in equine wellness. Laura is looking forward to continuing her collaboration within the equine industry and building her performance horse clientele.
