Kristen Singh was “horse crazy” as far back as she can remember. Somewhere, on an old family video reel, she and her brothers celebrate her 3rd birthday with pony rides. “As a young girl, I had read every horse book I could get my hands on and between my sister and I, we had an impressive Breyer horse model collection.” But it wasn’t until Kristen was a teenager that her dreams of having a horse came true. “I learned early on that I cared very deeply about what horses were thinking and how they felt in their bodies.”
After nearly 20 years in healthcare, Kristen was ready for a change and googled “equine massage” after a local equine chiropractor adjusted her beloved Belgian. “I was looking for a new career, as well as ways to help relieve tension in his shoulder and came across the Masterson Method® website.” I decided to sign up for a weekend clinic and the rest is history!”
Before she discovered The Masterson Method, Kristen was, and still is, fascinated with the equine hoof and practices barefoot trimming. She spent many hours studying and researching hoof pathologies and trimming techniques and was coached by other farriers and barefoot trimmers before taking over trimming her own horses in 2007.
Kristen started her equine bodywork business, Paragon Equine Bodywork, LLC in 2024 where she practices the Masterson Method as an MMCP. “I’ve found my niche. My goal to connect with horses by helping them feel better both physically and emotionally by relieving stress and tension has been realized, thanks to the Masterson Method.” Kristen loves caring for and riding her horses in the Arizona desert and lives with her husband in San Tan Valley, AZ.
