I saw my first horse when I was 3 years old. I thought they were the most majestic creatures and I still think that today. Over the years I have observed how horses use their bodies in different riding venues as they twist, turn, and land, causing stress on the whole body. This observation has made me want to relieve that stress and bring comfort to the horse; that is why Masterson is important to me. It gave me the tools I needed to help the horse find relief and relaxation. I saw a demonstration of the Masterson Method® and I was hooked!! It amazed me how the horse was helped.
I have been a registered nurse for almost 50 years and I bring my healthcare training to address the care needs of the horse’s body, mind, and spirit. I use my intuition when caring for patients; I use the same intuition when caring for the horse. I listen and observe what the horse is telling me so I can help them in the best possible way.
As a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner, I will always work to serve the horse and bring comfort to these wonderful animals.
