Jackie brings a unique blend of equine experience, anatomical curiosity, and journalistic insight to her equine bodywork practice. As a certified coach, Jackie has spent many years helping riders become a bit better at connecting with their horses to achieve harmonious partnerships while developing strength and flexibility.
The Masterson Method® of equine bodywork sparked a fascination with fascia and a commitment to releasing tension by staying under the horse’s natural bracing response. After witnessing the profound results that can come from light touch and following the horse’s subtle cues, there was no turning back.
Jackie’s approach is rooted in a deep appreciation for horse behaviour and biomechanics. Drawing on years of experience interviewing equine researchers and translating complex science into accessible writing, she brings a thoughtful, informed perspective to every session. She’s especially passionate about how the intricate connections within the horse’s body contribute to dynamic balance and how releasing tension can optimize functional anatomy, restore range of movement and promote well being.
Whether working with performance horses, aging companions, or those in rehabilitation, Jackie’s sessions are guided by curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to listening to the horse.
