Claire has had the honour and pleasure to have been connected with horses for a large part of her life. She is a qualified riding instructor and has been lucky enough to work in both the UK and Germany with dressage horses, show jumpers and young stock. In recent years she has been involved with running a small TB Stud Farm and has spent time producing and competing her own horses, eventing up to novice level and dressage to medium level.
Claire is passionate about helping people get the most from their horses and has learnt over the years that a happy horse and top performance comes from a whole horse approach to management and more often than not this has included holistic therapies. The Masterson Method® encapsulates this approach, which is why she was so keen to become a practitioner.
Claire aims to develop good working relationships with owners’ vets, physiotherapists, farriers, equine dentists and fellow complementary practitioners in order to be able to help owners facilitate the whole horse approach. From her first pony Rocky, a Dartmoor pony rescued by her parents to her current rides Rollo and Pie she is always learning. Claire is keen to enhance her skills further by working with different horses and continuing her education in this field.
