My love of animals started in childhood, but I began riding regularly when I started taking hunter/jumper lessons as an adult. After leasing a wonderful school horse for over a decade, I found my own horse, Nigel, and he joined our family. Helping Nigel navigate physical tension opened my eyes to the profound impact bodywork can have. That experience sparked a desire to better support the well being of my own horses and dogs—and to offer that same care to other animals. I started by becoming certified in Equine and Canine Sports Massage and have continued expanding my toolbox with complementary modalities.
When I saw Jim Masterson demonstrate at the Midwest Horse Fair, listening to the horses and allowing them to lead the release process, I realized The Masterson Method® was exactly the path I wanted to follow. In addition to becoming an MMCP Equine, I am pursuing Masterson Method Canine certification. I have also participated in continuing education opportunities, including a whole horse dissection to enhance my understanding of the horse’s body.
At the heart of my work is a simple commitment: connecting with equine and canine companions to support their comfort and well being. I am currently accepting new clients in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
