Monique is the owner of Copper Equine Bodyworks, LLC in southeastern Wisconsin.  Her journey to help horses with bodywork began as an adult, and she has dedicated herself to learning these skills since 2015.  Working with and for horses has been her life’s aspiration!

She is always weaving the Masterson Method® into everything she does, whether it be as a perpetual student of riding technique, English and Western disciplines, with an emphasis on softness and communication in the saddle, or during all handling and groundwork, or care and husbandry of a herd.  She has special interests in applied anatomy and biomechanics as it relates to equine bodywork. She is currently studying/practicing the therapeutic benefits of bodywork for horses recovering from traumatic events, with an interest in assisting rescued equines.

The Masterson Method® opened up opportunities for her to learn and grow in horsemanship and, very unexpectedly, with knowing and trusting herself.  This became the drive for her to join the Masterson Method® education team in 2022 as a Mentor for Block 1 and Block 2. She loves helping the fieldwork students get curious and discover their talents!

To further share the Masterson Method® with all equines (and people, too!), Monique completed her MMES certification in 2023 and assists with the therapy program at Helping Hands Healing Hooves in Cedarburg, WI.
