I’m excited to be an MMES Masterson Method Equine Specialist. I am also a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner Equine, Coach, and Instructor. I was intrigued by the opportunity to pursue the Masterson Method Equine Specialist certification as a way to continue my Masterson Method journey while expanding my skills and opportunities to work with people and horses.
While working as a barn manager and horse trainer just outside of Boulder, Colorado, I helped run a ranch and boarding facility created by a psychologist who worked with military veterans. The ranch provided a safe place for veterans to learn, work with horses, participate in ranch activities, and build community. This experience introduced me to the possibilities of equine-assisted therapy and sparked my interest in learning more.
The MMES program has provided me with additional tools to bring my experience with horses and the Masterson Method into this field. I see my role as the horse professional working alongside therapists, psychologists, and other professionals, bringing my knowledge of horses and the Masterson Method to this growing and fascinating area of therapy.
I’m available throughout Colorado, including the Front Range and Western Slope, with seasonal availability in Florida during the winter months.
I look forward to bringing my experience, knowledge, and passion for horses to this work and to supporting the connection between horses and people.
