Kim Dabolt has been certified in Equine Sports Massage Therapy since 2010 and a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner and Phase ll Certification Mentor since 2012.

Kim has a lifetime of being involved with horses in disciplines ranging from barrels to eventing to western pleasure to dressage to trails. These endeavors were met with varying degrees of success but always enjoyed. She has also been active in 4H as both a youth and an adult leader. Kim loves sharing her passion for all things equine.

With a career in research Microbiology, Kim feels that there is always something new to learn. This extends to her horses. When her horse had an unresolved lameness and her daughter’s horse was having trouble performing she wanted to know why and how to fix it. This led her to an insatiable interest in equine biomechanics and behavior. She feels that the Masterson Method™ combines these two interests beautifully. Kim is constantly learning more in her continuing conversation with the horse.

Kim’s equine bodywork practice serves a wide range of clients, from eventers to dressage, western pleasure to barrels, rescue to retired. Using the Masterson Method™ she is able to make the horse more relaxed and comfortable so that he is able to respond to training without stiffness or pain. Her bodywork sessions are done with the horse instead of to the horse. This, in turn, improves performance in the show ring or on the trail.
