Founder of Sabre Holistics | Specialist in Equine Trauma, Healing & Bodywork
Hannah Jones is internationally recognised for her specialist work in equine trauma, nervous system regulation, emotional release and whole-horse healing.
As the founder of Sabre Holistics, she has developed a distinctive, integrative approach to equine bodywork that bridges advanced techniques with trauma-informed somatic awareness. Her work is grounded in the understanding that many performance, behavioural, and soundness issues originate not only in physical restriction, but in unresolved stress patterns held within the nervous system.
Hannah specializes in working with horses who present with:
- Chronic tension and compensatory movement patterns
- Trauma-related behavioural challenges
- Stress-induced inflammation and sensitivity
- Performance blocks
- Shutdown, dissociation, or hyper-reactivity
By combining the subtle responsiveness of The Masterson Method® with trauma-aware techniques, she supports horses in releasing deeply held restriction at their own pace – allowing for lasting physical and emotional change.
Beyond hands-on bodywork, Hannah is known for her educational contributions to the equine industry. She has created many online courses for horse owners, including Holistic Horse Health & Harmony to improve horse & owner wellbeing.
She also launched the first equine treatment centre of its kind in the UK – The Sabre Holistic Retreat. The retreat is a special place horses come to heal. Hannah has successfully rehabilitated many horses whose fate was euthanasia without her intervention.
Her methodology works with the mind, body & spirit of the horse. Specifically integrating biomechanics, fascia awareness, nervous system balancing, and intuitive horse-led communication – positioning her at the forefront of modern, integrative equine rehabilitation.
Hannah works internationally, collaborating with performance barns, trainers, and equine centres to elevate standards of trauma-informed bodywork and healing.
Her mission is to have holistic care in every horse’s routine, to advance the understanding that healing is not simply about fixing pathology – but about restoring trust, regulation, and embodied safety within the horse. She is also passionate about improving the relationship between horse & rider to create safer and more harmonious partnerships.
