Diane grew up on a small island in Puget Sound and has been an animal lover for as long as she can remember. She got her first pony at 9 and came up through Pony Club riding mostly OTTB. It was a lot of years of “seat of your pants riding” and a “just do it” attitude. This attitude towards horses as pieces of sporting equipment made a big shift after Diane bought an abused and very misunderstood horse named Turner. In an effort to understand his behavioral and performance issues, Diane became interested in bodywork and The Masterson Method. As her guinea pig in learning the Master Method, Turner has not only overcome his behavioral and performance issues, but he also learned to trust, and to try.

Her journey to gain experience and confidence doing bodywork led her in 2013 to work full time in a large dressage training and sales barn. The trainer in this barn along with one of Diane’s bodywork cases went on to become the Dressage National Grand Prix Freestyle Champions in 2014.

The journey continued with a move to what Diane considers a horse persons paradise in Aiken SC at the end of 2014. Here Diane is building a bodywork practice with professional and amateur riders, as well as traveling as far north as PA and CT for clients that leave the South for the summer.

As a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner as well as a Certified Practitioner in Structural Integration, Diane feels like she has found her passion in life and is avid about continuing to increase her toolbox of knowledge in an effort to benefit and help heal our equine partners in body and soul.
