It was during my equine massage training that I discovered The Masterson Method®. Jim’s book, “Beyond Horse Massage” was listed in the bibliography of one of the teaching manuals. I bought it… It sat unopened for a long time… until I met Roucky, a Camargue horse suffering from an intermittent lameness following a case of tendinitis that had been deemed cured. I didn’t understand Roucky’s situation, nor what I was feeling under my hands. I finally opened Jim’s book and came across a chapter specifically dedicated to intermittent lameness. I read it and a light bulb started to go off concerning Roucky’s situation…
I then felt the desire, a need almost, to learn more about the method. First Weekend Seminar in France with Caroline Hébert Bernard and Hélène Sigogneau. Advanced 5-Day Course in England with Vicky Devlin and her team. The Masterson adventure had begun and wasn’t about to end ! I completed practical training in both France and England, leading up to my final certification in the UK in May 2025.
Through the MM, I have discovered and practice a method whose approach aligns with my values, my sensibility, and my vision of the animal-human relationship. Over the sessions I continue to be fascinated by horses’ ability to – despite being prey animals – relax and let go in a relationship of trust. Finding the way together… through interaction releasing tensions, for greater well-being, comfort, mobility, performance, and harmony between the horse and its human companion(s).
Depending on the sessions and what the horses signal to me, I practice The Masterson Method® either on its own or in combination with other techniques: acupressure points, massage and energy healing. Located in the Fribourg region, I practice in the surrounding area and throughout French-speaking Switzerland.
I look forward to meeting you!
