I grew up around horses as my family ran and operated a Quarter Horse breeding operation. I began riding my pony at the early age of 2 and then continued my equine journey throughout the years showing in AQHA sanctioned shows, reining club shows, competing on a drill team, dabbled in barrel racing and most recently I have shown in cutting and reined cow horse. I have taken riding lessons and attended numerous horsemanship and riding clinics over the years. I have always had a love for spending time with horses.
After recently learning about and completing my certification with The Masterson Method® I really realize how much my focus has turned from riding and competing to learning more about the total health of the horse and what their bodies need. I have always wanted to work with horses as a career and now I am finding a way to do this and a way to help so many horses. I find that working with horses using this method creates a peace in me that I was needing for my personal growth. The Masterson Method allows me to assist the horse in releasing tension and improving their mobility and comfort. I have a new appreciation for the horse’s complex anatomy, and I am excited to continue my education and learn more.
