A man and a horse!

My journey into the Masterson Method began with a deep love for horses and a lifelong curiosity about how they think, feel, and move. Early on, I realized that horses communicate most clearly through subtle signals—quiet shifts in expression, breath, or posture that often go unnoticed. I became fascinated by these moments and wanted to understand how to support horses not only physically, but also emotionally.

Over time, I explored different approaches to bodywork, as I also work with people with a holistic modality called Polarity Therapy, but nothing resonated with me as strongly as The Masterson Method®. The idea of working with the horse—listening, watching, and allowing the horse to guide the process—felt natural and aligned with my values. It wasn’t about forcing release, but about creating a safe, cooperative space where the horse could let go of tension on its own terms.

As I trained in the Masterson Method, I experienced firsthand the power of softening, patience, and connection. I learned how small responses—a blink, a sigh, a lean—could open the door to profound physical and emotional release. This work has changed the way I interact with horses and deepened my appreciation for their sensitivity, intelligence, and honesty.

Today, I use the Masterson Method to help horses find greater comfort, mobility, and ease in their bodies. Whether supporting sport horses, partners in training, or companions in recovery, my focus is always the same: to listen, to respect, and to help each horse feel seen and supported.
