My journey with horses began nearly 40 years ago, but my professional path initially took me into a 20-year career as a firefighter, where I learned the importance of resilience, teamwork and trust, all of which deeply inform my approach to equine bodywork today.

Through my experiences as one of the few women in a physically demanding and high-pressure profession, I gained a unique perspective on the importance of body mechanics, injury prevention and recovery. These insights now shape how I approach each horse, understanding that their physical and emotional needs must be addressed with care and precision. After two decades of service, my transition to equine bodywork felt like a natural evolution of my desire to help others, only this time focusing on the welfare of horses.

In my years as a firefighter, I learned firsthand the vital importance of self-care in high-demand environments. The physical and mental strain of the job taught me that to perform at your best, whether on the fireground or in daily life, you need to listen to your body and address its needs. This is what drew me to the Masterson Method® as the same principle applies to our horses. Like us, they endure physical challenges, stress and fatigue and their bodies deserve the same level of attention and care. My approach to equine bodywork draws on this understanding, focusing on releasing tension, improving mobility and ensuring that horses can recover and perform at their best.

As a dedicated Masterson Method Certified Practitioner, my passion for horses and their well-being drives everything I do. My approach is holistic and individualized, ensuring that each session is tailored to the specific needs of the horse. Whether it’s a performance horse dealing with the rigors of competition, or a leisure horse in need of relaxation and body maintenance, my goal is always to help them move and feel better.

Drawing on my experience as both an avid equestrian and passionate bodyworker, I bring a unique blend of strength, sensitivity and knowledge to every horse I work with. I look forward to helping your horse achieve optimal well-being and performance.
