I have been around horses my entire life and have ridden since I was seven years old. Being at the barn after school and every weekend, doing chores and caring for the horses gave me a strong work ethic and high attention to detail. After spending a year at the University of Connecticut as an Animal Science major, still unsure of what I truly wanted to do in life, I was introduced to The Masterson Method® and immediately thought “this is it”. I changed my major to Business Management and upon graduating, I signed up for my first weekend course. A few years down the line all the practice paid off when I achieved my MMCP title.
In 2020 I bought my heart horse, a then three year old off-the-track-thoroughbred named Ben, who brought me into the world of low level eventing. Ben has taught me so much about horsemanship and patience. He was my go to for learning The Masterson Method® techniques, so I thought it was justified to name my business after him; Ecliptic Equine Bodywork, after his race name “Ben’s Ecliptical”. I’m so excited to continue this journey of helping horses look and feel their best!
