(Dalton, WI) Jane Austin started riding horses when she was just 6 years old. She received a Christmas gift for riding lessons from her parents. They were tired of her pretending her German Sheppard was a horse. When she was 10 years old her parents bought her a horse, a big beautiful black Saddlebred. Jane trail rode him and showed him Hunter Under Saddle, Western pleasure, Barrels, & poles. At 16 years old Jane would get out of School early on a work study program. She would spend her afternoons training horses and giving riding lessons. She lived in Hartland at that time and trained all breeds of horses Saddlebreds, Arabians, Paso Finos, Peruvian Pasos and Paints.

When Jane was in her 20's she started training and showing exclusively AQHA Show horses. She moved to Dalton WI to a horse farm that her husband and her own. She and her husband bred AQHA show horses. They have owned many stallions. They usually had at least 20 broodmares foaling in the spring. Jane and her daughter Rose traveled the nation showing at the AQHA shows. Many of the horses they showed were born and raised on the farm. Jane became a AQHA professional trainer and instructor. She enjoyed training and showing quality AQHA show horses that could compete at a National level of competition. She also showed horses that were owned by her clients. She has trained and shown horses that have been State Champions, Futurity Champions, World Qualifiers, Top Ten World, Top Ten Congress, and All Around Champions. Jane specializes in training AQHA all around horses. Jane and her students show Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Trail, Ranch Pleasure, Showmanship. To compete at this level Jane used the best Farriers, Veterinarians, Chiropractors she could find. It was hard work to keep the horses competing at this high of a level. She realized when the horses were not performing right they were sore. But the trick was trying to figure out where they were sore and what could be done to help them. Several years ago she discovered the Masterson Method and realized that it was truly the missing link. She could help the horses to be happier, healthier, and sounder. They could be happy doing their jobs again. She was amazed at the results she was getting on clients horses and her own horses. What she used to call poor conformation she soon realized was poor posture and restricted muscles. She also noticed the horses she was doing bodywork on were moving prettier than ever. The hunt horses had longer prettier trots. The Pleasure and hunt horses rocked up and used their backs better. Her customers noticed how their horses seemed to be happier and riding better too. Jane quickly became certified as a Masterson Method Practioner. And is excited about her new adventure to help horses to feel better and perform their best.
