Martha Becker has studied Natural Horsemanship and horse behavior for the past seventeen years and has implemented this knowledge when playing and interacting with horses on a professional level. While attending the 2012 Iowa Horse Fair, Martha watched Jim Masterson work on horses during a demo and realized at that moment the strong connection there was with horse behavior and the tension/restriction they carry. Martha recognized that Jim’s program and techniques embraced the same philosophies and beliefs she held when working with horses — keep it light, keep it natural, and put the horse first.

Becoming a Certified Masterson Method Practitioner has taken Martha to a whole new level of horsemanship and the ability to read the horse more effectively, helping them overcome stress and tension for an overall improvement in performance and attitude.
